A four-bedroom, three bathroom ‘Row House’ show home, which boasts the very latest in sustainable housing design and innovation, will be open six days a week from this Saturday (18th March).

Redbridge Quay currently includes a mix of the award winning ‘Town House’ and ‘Row House’ modular homes, designed by Liverpool architects Shedkm, and will eventually include hundreds more waterside homes.

Redbridge Quay offers a vibrant urban community with a calm suburban vibe, a soothing waterside location, and shared communal gardens with access to new public open spaces.

The development, named Redbridge Quay due to its proximity to the famous red bridge in the northeast corner of Birkenhead Docks, is located in the emerging Northbank neighbourhood at Wirral Waters. The waterside development is surrounded by beautiful Grade II listed grain warehouses, a new pocket park, green landscaping and new public realm, including dockside walkways.

Wirral estate agent, Jones & Chapman, has been appointed by Wirral Waters’ master planner, Peel L&P, to sell the new homes. Jones & Chapman has offices based in Prenton (349 Woodchurch Road) and Wallasey (108 Wallasey Road) and is part of the award-winning national estate agency network, Sequence (UK).

Redbridge Quay is located on Dock Rd, Seacombe, CH41 1DS. In addition to the new show home there is a fully equipped sales centre and customer parking.

Saturday 18th March is a public open day from 10am to 4pm and everyone is welcome to drop in.

The sales pavilion will then be open and staffed Monday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm, with Saturdays by appointment.

Richard Mawdsley, Peel L&P’s director of development for Wirral Waters, said: “Redbridge Quay is a very exciting residential development for the Wirral. The show home looks fantastic and will give people a real insight into modern housing design and innovation and what future living will look like. I believe this development will have a huge appeal to families, couples and individuals looking for a sustainable, energy efficient home that is fit for the future.

“Redbridge Quay forms part of our Northbank residential quarter at Wirral Waters and will sit alongside 500 waterside apartments at Miller’s Quay and in close proximity to Four Bridges, a mix of educational, retail, leisure and commercial office developments all along the water’s edge, so it’s a wonderful place to set up home.”

Rachel Jones, Land and New Homes Manager at Jones and Chapman, commented:

“As Jones and Chapman marks its centenary year and celebrates its 100th year in business, we are absolutely thrilled to be partnered with Peel L&P on this exciting development at Redbridge Quay.

“For me Wirral Waters and Redbridge Quay is simply history in the making and is destined to be one of the most popular locations on the Wirral for years to come. It’s not just a case of dropping some houses on an empty plot and moving on, Wirral Waters has been thoughtfully and carefully designed with the community at its heart. It’s so exciting to see the creation of a mixed-use, high-density, highly sustainable project that will elevate and regenerate the area to the benefit of its existing community. This fantastic development consists of spacious, contemporary, two, three and four bedroomed homes  offering waterside locations alongside Grade II listed buildings and we are confident that Wirral docks will become one of the North West’s best places to live.”
